  2. History In 1918 Germany was declared a republic. because the assembly that adopted its constitution met at Weimar in 1919. In its early years, the Weimar Republic was troubled by postwar economic and financial problems and political instability, but it had recovered considerably by the late 1920s. Its major political leaders included presidents

  3. History In 1961 the Berlin wall was built. When the Berlin wall was built the people living in that area could not go outside of the wall.

  4. History In 1989 the Berlin wall was demolished. Then when they demolished the wall communist east could go west and communist west could go east.

  5. Culture Germany was the birth place of Christianity. That is the birth place of Christ.

  6. Culture Under two-thirds of Germans consider themselves Christians. So under two-thirds of Germans believe in Christ.

  7. Culture The offial language of Germany is German over 95% of the population steaks German as their first language.

  8. Geography and physical features The black forest (German schwa Wald) is a wooded mountain range.

The Government of Germanyholds executive powers. The two sections of Parliament which are the Bundestag and Bundesrat exercise federal powers. The Social Democratic Party and Christian Democratic Union has heldenormous power since 1949.

  15. Government The Bundestag consist of 598 members. It is elected every 4 years. The single seat constituency ( one who may vote for a representative) hold 299 members and the other 299 belong to the state constuency.

  16. Government . Bundesrat represents the state government on the federal rank. It consist of 69 members. The state Government sends the voting orders to the members of the Bundesrat
