Enterprise Europe Network The largest European network • Start in 2008; • An initiative of the European Commission; • A key instrument of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP); • Made up of 600 partner organizations; • In 48 countries; • Implementation of the “No-wrong-door” principle; … with the mission of helping companies and stakeholders make the most of the business opportunities in the European Union and beyond.

Enterprise Europe Network in Portugal Objectives: • To provide an easyand friendlyaccess to EU-related information and knowledge that is relevant to SMEs and stakeholders competitiveness; • To provide a qualified service for technological and innovation transfer; • To provide a qualified service towards internationalization; • To help Portuguese enterprises to face the global competitiveness challenges.

Enterprise Europe Network in Portugal Services: • Facilitating SME’s awareness raising and access to European information (i.e. Community legislation, EU programmes and initiatives and promotion of SME’s participation); • Making for SMEs a sounding board for future EU policies through feedback service; • Helping companies to expand to new markets, to find cooperation partners and to exploit the opportunities of the internal market and abroad; • Facilitating technology and knowledge transfer; • Stimulating the capacity of firms to innovate.
