GETTING STARTED! • Before you can mentor you must do the following: • Register for a mentor orientation session through our website: thecenter.fsu.edu/youthprograms.html • Pass the Leon County Schools background AND sexual predator checks (if you have not done this already we will provide you with the paperwork you need at your training session) • Commit to mentor at least 1 hour a week during your summer session
