16. Borg The Borg are a fictional race of cyborgs that terrorise the Star Trek Universe. “ We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Your technological and biological distinctiveness will be added to our own, resistance is futile”. When they assimilate other species, it is with the goal of discovering that species’ unique strengths so the collective can add them to its own. The Borg are a monarchy, the Borg Queen controls all the lower drones. Modern Times: The Assimilation policy, here in Australia. The Borg are vampires of the future, they assimilate you, take away your control and individuality, by injecting nanites into your blood stream ( as shown below).

Ebay, Amazon, Itunes, costume stores, websites totaling in the hundreds of thousands are all dedicated to selling Star Trek toys, DVD’s, costumes, memrorbilla, themed games such as Star Trek Monopoly and much more. This prouduces a global market, which is still providing millions to Paramount Pictures and to the community.
