CHARACTER TRAITS • A character trait is a clear and distinctive feature of a person/character in a story • A character trait can be described • Evidence of a character trait will be given through the text and pictures • A character trait is measured through the words, actions and expressions of a character. • Character traits can be described as “personality traits”, “qualities of a character”, “characteristics”….

CHARACTER TRAITS • HERE IS A SHORT LIST OF TRAITS A CHARACTER CAN HAVE… Adventurous, afraid, ambitious, angry, annoyed , bossy, brave, busy, calm, careful, careless, cautious, cheerful, childish, confused, daring, demanding, dependable, depressed, disrespectful, eager, easygoing, embarrassed, evil, excited, fearless, gentle, grateful, grouchy, guilty, hard-working, helpful, honest, imaginative, impatient, impolite, jealous, kind, lazy, lonely, loyal, mean, messy, mischievous, naughty, nervous, nice, proud, quiet, rude, sad, selfish, serious, spoiled, talented, thoughtful, unhappy, upset, weak
