    6. What other things could you do that would make an admissions officer choose you as one of the 24 out of 200 plus Midwifery candidates? Voluntary Work Working with Sure Start programmes

    7. How Long Does It Take To Complete Midwifery Training? Depends on the Institution 4 years at UCLAN for the Degree No Diploma available 3 Years at Bradford

    8. What is The Difference Between Degree And Diploma? Degree students undertake more modules, therefore academic and time management skills need to be well developed

    9. Do Degree Students Make Better Nurses? Not necessarily but they can go on to become Ward Sisters and into a career path and therefore earn more

    10. What Is The Financial Difference Between A Degree And A Diploma? A Diploma carries a mandatory bursary of around Ł5000 with a little on top that is means tested A Degree is means tested therefore if your family income is high you may only receive minimum support In some cases the funding can be equal
