Comparative Adjectives

To compare 2 things, or 2 people, or 2 places:

  • I am taller than my brother.
  • Jackson is bigger than Bells.
  • An iPad is better than a laptop.

But we can use it to compare more than two things like:

  • I am taller than my brother and my sister.
  • Jackson is bigger than Bells and Alamo.
  • An iPad is better than a laptop and a desktop.

We can also use the comparative without stating the other thing if it’s understood such as:

  • I feel better. (Meaning that it is understood to the person you are talking to than that you fell better than you did before).
