  1. Nasser Hussain says Covid-19 outbreak in England camp will cause absolute chaos Former England captain Nasser Hussain said that the Covid-19 outbreak in England camp will cause absolute chaos. Notably, three players and four staff members of the have tested positive for Covid-19 so far with the remainder of the squad came to the close contacts and required to self-isolate as well. “It will cause chaos. They will have to pick a completely different squad- that 16 players and the backroom staff and coaches ruled out. They will have to pull the bulk of those players out of county cricket,” Hussain told Sky Sports. “There's a round of County Championship games going on now and all those counties will have to replace those players and get them tested. The players pulled out will have to get to Cardiff and get tested to enter the bubble. So it will be absolute chaos at ECB towers right now," he further added. On the other hand, the COVID-19 outbreak inside the bio-bubble has forced the ECB to announce a new team to play against Pakistan.

  2. However, England’s veteran all-rounder Ben Stokes, who is currently playing for Durham against Warwickshire in the County Championship, has been named captain of the new squad that will take on Pakistan. England will play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Pakistan, which is starting from July 8. Meanwhile, the famous cricketer turned commentator has stated that the players should be given some ease as they have been travelling and playing regular cricket which has been taking a toll mentally to them. "Cricketers have been going around the world in bubbles and just for the sake of their mental health, when they turn up to the ground and see normal society out there and being relaxed slightly then that's what they have to do with their players,” further added Nasser Hussain.
