  2. The Waste Wise Team 2011

  3. The Waste wise team meet regularly with Mrs Curtis and we work on our goals. • We have support from Ron Ron visits and encourages us to think about waste wise ideas.

  4. cv Responsibilities We make up ideas to persuade both the children and the staff why it is important to be waste wise and keep the world clean. We pick up rubbish to keep the school tidy so rubbish won’t go flying into the ocean and choke the sea animals.

  5. Our Bins We have different kind of bins: • food scrap bins • recyclable glass and paper bins, other rubbish bins. We do this to make it easier for us to sort out which rubbish goes where. Children from the waste wise team are also responsible to empty out the bins maybe two or three times a week.

  6. Our Compost Our compost is where we put all of our food scraps after we empty the bins out. We have to take out any plastic that might be in there by mistake.

  7. Proudly Presented by: Palalaika Eric James
