Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan Has Been Given Additional Responsibility As In-Charge Governor Of Telangana DESCRIPTION Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan has been assigned extra responsibilities as Telangana's in-charge governor. This follows Tamilisai Soundararajan's resignation from her constitutional position as Telangana Governor. According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué, Tamilisai's resignation was accepted immediately, and Radhakrishnan was nominated to take on extra responsibility for Telangana. Telangana's Third Governor Comes From Tamil Nadu Radhakrishnan is the third Tamil Nadu native to serve as governor of Telangana for two terms in a row. The first was ESL Narasimhan, then Tamilisai Sounderarajan. Radhakrishnan's Background Radhakrishnan, a former two-time BJP MP from Coimbatore, became the governor of Jharkhand in 2023. Additional Charge Of Puducherry Too On March 19, 2024, President Droupadi Murmu awarded Radhakrishnan additional charge of Puducherry after accepting Tamilisai Soundararajan's retirement from that position.
