Online Muid Energy run 20897 M4 performance • Read-Out • OF constants loading to all RODs presented at online database meeting(link) • Sincronization issue CTP - TileCal. • Extra BCR delay added • High-rate de-synchronization issue • Expert session (CTP-Tile-ROS) scheduled for 30/09/2007. • Data storage/castor/cern.ch/grid/atlas/t0/perm/daq • Monitoring • Running at ROS and EF level • More on L2 contribution reported by Arantxa. • DDC integration • Data and Message transfer used. • Outcome from DDC meeting (link) Combined cosmic event ATLANTIS display TDAQ commissioning 20th sept 2007

RCD updates • Added programable ECR, BCR enabling and rate to TileCal_TTCviModule. • RCD ReadoutModule used for ROD lab @Valencia and @CERN. • OC flush SDRAM when using VME read-out. • Used for DVS tests. • Publish ROD links up and ROD links read-out at configuration time. • Read-out configuration monitor • MetaData update readMetaData output display TDAQ commissioning 20th sept 2007

DSP updates • DSP version 13.3.3 installed in the pit since Friday 14th september. • Event format version word • MSB: TDAQ data format version (0x0301). • The ROS will check for the correct format version. • LSB: DSP version • RITMO • Added TTC information (LastL1ID, LastBCID, LastTType) • Reco fragment type 4 (Belen can explain better) • Energy units (ADC, pC, CS calibrated pC, MeV) • Using calibration constants • Already syncrhonized with Athena version 13.3.X • It will be synchronized with production version 13.0.30 (M5) • DSP synchronization issue(Alberto can explain better) • DSP rejected one out of 8 events from staging feb when there were problems with full feb. Future upgrades ROD crate • Stop less recovery system (see drawing) • If ROD Busy is busy, it will disable the linked object in the channel setting the busy. • In case of Tile, it is the TBM  Logical OR of all ROD crate • We need to extend this stop less recovery system to the TBM. • TBM firmware upgrade? (To be discussed with LAr). • Segment cleaning • We have the same number of controllers than controlled applications. • DAQ asked to group applications inside same TTC segment. • Less segments with same granularity. • A bit abstract still. To be clarified. • Read-Out Links description • ROD module configuration logic has to be upgraded. • If read-out link is down, should not be used. • If drawers into read-out link are out, read-out link should be disabled. • To be clarified. • Dual timer substitute board (see drawing) • We are paying for material rent every month because we need external trigger source @Valencia and @CERN • 1 NIM output trigger (programable rate) • 1 NIM input busy • VME 6U / PMC for SBC • Engeneering project ROD busy TBM ROD ROD Busy x8 Output trigger source TTCvi Trigger Veto TBM Trigger Busy TDAQ commissioning 20th sept 2007

Schedule • TileCal week 4th-9th october. • DAQ Online Tools split into Maintenance/DAQ development and Operation/DAQ. • Still to clarify agenda. • Next minor TDAQ release 01-08-03 for 11th october. • Need to recompile packages. • No major issues forseen. • I’ll be in Valencia 9th-20th october. • Expect to migrate lab to 01-08-03. • M5 starts 22nd October. • Book shift for high speed session. • No more Mx weeks until february 2008. • At CERN until mid december.
