Geographic location: • Situated on the Eastern and Southern Caribbean routes • One day sailing from Miami and overnight from Grand Turk, San Juan, Virgin Islands. • 7 and 9 day itineraries from New York. • Easy to fit into existing or new itineraries, ie central Caibbean routes. • Represents fuel savings Unique shore excursions: • Off the beaten path experiences, unique in the area. • Whale watching, Los Haitises National Park, 500 meter high mountain range, lush tropical beaches. • Both land and water based activities are close to the ship.

Deep Water and sheltered bay • Provides good protection for tender operations. • We have handled up to two 2,500 pax ships Infrastructure and investments: • New international airport • New road connecting Samana with Santo Domingo • Marinas, hotels and luxury apartments complexes • New investments in public works (roads, watrer treatment plants)

  5. Our approach….. • Make the community aware of the benefits of cruise tourism. • Integrate the community and cruise lines in the organization process. • Education and ongoing training. (FCCA, ISPS Seminars, Trips to STM) • Work closely with local government and authorities. • Work closely with the local private sector (restaurants, shops, tour operators). • Local community needs to feel the benefits.
