  4. Realignment Process • Realignment procedures are included in the district’s Policies & Procedures Manual, Policy 5.7, Student Assignment

  5. Realignment Process • The realignment committee consists of representatives from the schools and communities potentially affected. • The process provides timelines and meeting dates for committee members.

  6. Boundary Factors & Parameters • Capacity of each school facility • Natural boundaries such as rivers, highways, railroads • Distance students should travel to and from school

  7. Boundary Factors & Parameters • Socioeconomic composition of schools impacted by boundary changes. • All race neutral factors as they reflect the district-wide demographics.
