Info for Teachers: • This resource is intended for occasional review of vocabulary used in the ISAT • Suggestion: Randomly select 10-12 words each time you use this with your class • The words are organized by Goal Strand to allow you to focus on a particular area, should you so choose • Vocabulary 1-18 • Word Analysis 19-28 • Literal Comprehension 29-60 • Interpretive Comprehension 61-94 • Evaluative Comprehension 95-116 • Literary Analysis 117-150 • Words that are used in more than one Goal Strand are only included once on the board • Definitions were taken from a generic student dictionary. Feel free to change the definition to better fit your curriculum or content
