  9. We go outside everyday for recess unless it is below 0 or pouring rain. Help your child dress for the weather. Layered clothing is recommended. Remember warm jackets, snow pants, hats, mittens, boots, and scarves when needed. Please wear comfortable and safe shoes. Flip flops or slip-ons are not allowed at CPS.

  10. Breakfast, Lunch and Snack Make sure that your child gets adequate rest and eats a healthy breakfast before coming to school. See that your child always has lunch money in the food service account. This can be done online, or by payment to the CPS office by 10:00 am on the day the money is needed. Send a nutritious snack to school with your child each day for snack time. Water bottles are okay in our room!

  11. Home and School Communication Take Home Folder: Please check your child’s folder every evening for daily papers, homework, and notes. Weekly newsletters will come home on Fridays.
