  3. Audio Spectrum Envelope (1) • ASE is a log-frequency power spectrum. • Reduced spectrogram of the origin. • Obtained by summing the energy of the original power spectrum within series of frequency bands.

  4. Audio Spectrum Envelope (2) • The bands are log2 distributed between loEdge and hiEdge. • R= 2^j octaves (-4<=j<=3) • Edge = 2^(r*n) * 1kHz
