The trailer should end with scheduling information • The title • The day • The time • The slogan should be included at some point. • The radio advert should be between 30 and 40 seconds long. • The beginning should be clear so it grabs the audiences attention straight away. • The main point of the radio trailer is to get the audiences attention and intrigue them into watching the documentary.

  3. Sound effects can be used to grab attention. • Snip its of interviews within the documentary can be used so the audience get an idea of the content used within the documentary. • The voiceover should be from the documentary as it creates expectations for the reader and consistency. A voiceover adds professionalism to the radio trailer as existing trailers include these. • Music should be included and it should relate to the theme of the documentary. Sound
