  3. In this session… • A quick refresher (or intro) to the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) vision and how engaging our members will grow the IEEE

  4. MGA - The Transformation Where we are now… First the vision The organizational structure to implement the vision The strategy The action plan The feedback process The change in direction… a New Path

  16. Introduction to the Rest of the Story(R.I.P. Paul Harvey 2/28/09) • This weekend, we are concentrating on the Student part of the life cycle • Our Future • Our most vulnerable to leaving • Perhaps least engaged with the non-student member

  17. The three key elements that we have identified as areas of concern and opportunity • Pre-College: Knack to Admission • Education and Training • Careers

  18. We will break into three breakout sessions • Discuss: what are the issues, concerns, opportunities in this area • Concentrate on how this effects students, but don’t limit to them only • Brainstorm with post-its, categorize on flip charts

  19. We will break into three breakout sessions • Group for root causes, prioritize for impact • Object is to identify issues, not necessarily solutions (tomorrow!) • Report back on findings at 2:45PM here • NOTE – times, rooms may be different from schedule on web and in program
