  2. Interrogation Techniques Matthew 7:7-12

  3. Matthew 7:7–12 7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! 12“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Interrogation Techniques

  4. Ask • When we ask God our requests, He is glad and willing to answer them. He is not out to get us but out to bless us! • We must ask according to His Word, not with doubt and not for our own desires. We ask within relationship, not just to get stuff.

  5. Seek • When we seek God, we must seek Him alone and only Him. When we seek other things first, we will not find God. • We must seek God with a whole heart and with purity. Only then will we find God in our lives.

  6. Knock • When we knock on God’s door, He is more than ready to open up to us and have fellowship with us. • When we are making choices in our service to God, He can make it easier for us to decide by opening and closing opportunities to us.

  7. Be Generous • God is not out to get us. When He sees our need, He does not send us something that looks like it will help but in substance does not help us. • God does not send us the fulfillment of needs that actually puts us in danger. He doesn’t give us evil things or treat us in an evil manner. • Godly parents help us to understand God’s same disposition.

  8. Key of the Kingdom • When we act toward others with the same generosity that God has given us in His free grace, we open up others to receive from God also. • We can ask God for things and He will answer our requests. We can seek God in purity and find Him. He does not hide from faithful seekers. • And we can knock on God’s door and have fellowship with Him that guides us. • God is a good Father with a good heart and He wants to give us good gifts!
