Uses of NISH based statistics The interesting development in Nigeria currently, is the increasing demand for statistical products by governments, private business sector, Non- governmental organizations (NGOs) and the academia to mention a few. NISH based products have been used extensively for policy, programme design and performance monitoring by government and UN agencies. Key areas were NISH had been used include; • Immunization programmes • Fertility & mortality control • Health policies • Minimum wage adjustments • Poverty alleviation policies & programmes • Job creation programmes • Water supply and management schemes
