  5. Spanish Rice 1 T. Oil 1 cup rice 1c. Water plus 1 tsp. chicken base 1 c. Salsa • Toast the rice in the oil till light brown • Add the water, chicken base and salsa • Bring to a boil; cover with foil or pie tin and place in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes • Remove let rest 5 minutes. Serve

Cumin 1/4 tsp. oregano salt and pepper to taste add a pinch of cinnamon (optional) 1 oz or 2 T vegetable oil ½ Bell Pepper Julienne ½ onion Sliced • Add the dry ingredients to the chicken. Get your sauté pan smokin’ hot. Add the oil to the Chicken. • Place in pan in a single layer (don’t stack meat) sauté till brown and cooked ; 3-5 minutes • Add the vegetables and sauté for 2 minutes • Serve with flour tortilla and rice
