According to latest trending news in Nigeria today, The Director General, Dr. AyodeleBakare, driven by the Head of the Department of Digital Technology, Adoption, Digital Literacy and Skills of NITDA, who was addressed, offered this guidance in Abuja at the current year’s inter-school debate coordinated by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) and upheld by the office.

The topic of the discussion was: “Should web-based media be supported among secondary school understudies?” MallamAbdullahi expressed that school understudies utilizing the web are relied upon to act mindfully to be safeguarded from the psychological and actual dangers that are regular on the web.

As per the DG, a portion of the psychological dangers youngsters could experience the ill effects of being careless online are; Anxiety, low confidence, indiscrimination, viciousness, low academic performance, among others. He added that; “The actual dangers you can encounter online incorporate disease, injury, vandalism, death, and loss of financing.” He proceeded, “Your online duties include: not uncovering individual data to outsiders, staying away from individuals or outsiders who need a lot data, declining the offer, meeting strangers online, staying away from messages or documents from obscure sources. Mabushi State Secondary School came next and left with 75,000 naira, while DutsenAlhaji State Secondary School for girls came third and got 50,000 naira. He communicated this view on the second day of the NITDA-supported JCI program. He said tutoring the kids on technological advancement would advance JCI’s rationale, which is in accordance with the center’s command. The selected learners at the center were the students who dominated in the inter-school debate coordinated by JCI.
