Talent Pool • ·3rd Grade = • 2 hours a week • ·Monthly Newsletter • ·Students should NOT have to make up work missed in their regular classroom—they should not miss any new material but they are still responsible for the content. MacWiki • ·4th Grade = • 2.5 hours a week • ·Progress Reports every • 9 weeks • ·Extra BRAIN EXERCISE!! • ·5th Grade = • 3 hours a week

  4. Tentative Topics for 2008-2009 The Private Eye ; a 4 week immersion in observations & arts! Continue after 4 weeks, if desired & revisit periodically. An Air of Mystery; reading, instruction, & practice in deductive reasoning and mystery writing. Continue, if desired! Choose your Own Topic for an authentic project! All year, if you’d like! Robotics; a 4 week immersion in planning, building, & learning with Lego Robotics. Continue, if desired. Web Quests, there are bunches of these! Puzzlements of the logic, mathematical, verbal kind; daily, weekly, monthly! Produce a personal web-site, a wiki, or an article to be used on Broadcast WHATEVER ELSE COMES UP!!
