Motivations: Potential applications of the EO micro/nanopumps: ¤ Liquid drug delivery with fully controllable, large dynamic range of pumping rates ¤ Microfluidics and nanomachine applications ¤ Pumps for inks of electronic paper displays ¤ Micro-electronic cooling Four parts are included in my talk. The first is the motivations of this project. EO pumps have the advantages of no moving parts and easily-controlled accurate flow rate at low applied voltages. These devices have the potential to impact a lot of applications including: (1) Liquid drug delivery; (2) Microfluidics and nanomachine applications; (3) Pumps for inks of electronic paper displays; (4) Micro-electronic cooling, and so on.Four parts are included in my talk.
