  1. Leonardo Quality in Education 2005-2007

  2. CEU Business School • CEU Business School was established in 1988 (known as IMC - International Management Center until 2002) by a group of visionary leaders, including philanthropist George Soros and Hungarian entrepreneur Sándor Demján.  It was the first educational institution in the CEE region to train managers by offering a western graduate business program leading to an American MBA.  • After 12 years of granting joint degrees, the Business School joined Central European University, as an integral part of the institution, but remaining a legally independent, separately registered entity.  Its name was officially changed to CEU Business School in September of 2002.

  3. Mission Our Mission To train future business leaders with a sense of social responsibility and public leaders with cutting edge management skills. To be a catalyst of change, by playing an active role in introducing American style business education to the public and private sectors of the still transforming economies „east of the EU”. Our Purpose To provide excellent undergraduate and graduate education to students from Central-Eastern Europe and across the globe. To advance business and society issues in Hungary, through thought-provoking research, workshops and conferences.

  4. International Masters in Management The Executive MBA Program, “International Masters in Management” is a joint effort of 4 premier Business Schools: Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Tilburg University’s Tias Business School, GISMA Business School, Germany and CEU Business School. It has just recently been ranked # 11 in the world by the Financial Times in their world-wide survey of Executive MBAs. FT also ranked the program #1 in the world in “international course experience”. This integrated, part-time Executive MBA, which begins each year in February, is for experienced professionals who seek to obtain their degree while maintaining their full-time job responsibilities. Rotating on-campus instructional time is focused into six two-week residential sessions over the 2 years.

  8. MBA • CEU Business School offers an exceptional opportunity to earn an American MBA in the heart of Europe. The ONE-YEAR, full-time program begins each year in September. A rigorous, participative curriculum is taught by prominent international faculty with roots and experience in Central-Eastern Europe. Influential senior executives from many of the largest multi-national corporations prepare students to rise to the challenges of the local transforming economies through guest lectures, mentorships, and real-world consulting projects.

  9. Weekend MBA • The modular WEEKEND MBA, the same high quality American degree as the full-time program, can also be earned on a part-time basis, with no career interruption. The Weekend program starts in January each year, with classes running intensively from Friday afternoon until Sunday noon, every third weekend.

  10. MSc in IT Management Program • The School offers an MSc in IT Management Program, which is a short, highly concentrated business degree, much more specialized than an MBA. The Program focuses on the relevant management issues in the IT discipline across various industries, with particular emphasis given to developing entrepreneurial skills. Carefully designed to accomodate the needs of industry professionals, the Programs starts every September, with a duration of 7 or 11 months.

  11. Dual Undergraduate Degree in International Business • NEW this year is the Dual Undergraduate Degree in International Business from Università Bocconi and CEU Business School. • Students will develop diversity of thought, international management competencies and a truly global mindset. • The first 2 years of the program will be delivered at CEU Business School in Budapest, Hungary, and the final 2 years at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy. • Upon completion of this program, students will receive: an Italian Undergraduate Degree (Laurea) and an American Bachelor of Business Administration.
