  3. ERASMUS - Student mobility: studies, traineeship  - Staff mobility: teaching, personnel training/placement - Intensive programmes (IP) - Erasmus intensive language courses (EILC)

  4. ERASMUS INTENSIVE PROGRAMME (IP) An IP - a short programme of study which brings together students and teaching staff from higher education institutions of at least three participating countries. What is an IP???

ERASMUS INTENSIVE PROGRAMME (IP) Some important features of an IP: • One coordinating institution and at least 2 partners in order to be eligible; • An IPcan be a one-off activity or repeated over a limited number of years – max 3 consecutive years; • Location of the IP activities – any of the partner countries; • Duration of an IP – at least 10 continuous full working days. What is an IP???

Improvement of Entrepreneurial Skills in a Multicultural Environment The aim of the IP project - – to improve entrepreneurial skills of the students and help them develop the essential characteristics for successful entrepreneurship within a European context. The objectives • provide the students with the most important knowledge on entrepreneurship by playing business games; • give examples of successful foreign capital investments as well as national enterprises in European countries of the participating partners; • instruct the students and assist in their preparation of business plans; • instruct the students and assist in their preparation of video prototypes of a business game .   8. Improvement of Entrepreneurial Skills in a Multicultural Environment • Project application submitted in 2009 for 2 consecutive years - 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 • IP activities in February 2010 – Klaipeda (LITHUANIA) • Total number of participants – 31 student 7 lecturers ERASMUS IP 2009/2010

Improvement of Entrepreneurial Skills in a Multicultural Environment focusing on a specific sector – airline industry Created results created business plans for the establishment of an airline company in Lithuania: • Adlerair • Casa Key Airlines • Eagle View • Skybridge Airlines • Litair + created video prototypes on business games related to airline industry ERASMUS IP 2009/2010

Improvement of Entrepreneurial Skills in a Multicultural Environment • IP activities in 2011 – Kusadasi (TURKEY) • Total number of participants – 45students 10lecturers • 9 mixed groups of students • intensive work ~ 6 hours per day Structure of work: • Lectures by participating lecturers; • Presentations by the representatives from the business world; • playing business games. • Certificates - 3 ECTS. focusing on a specific sector – airline industry Created results created business plans for the establishment of an airline company in Lithuania: • Adlerair • Casa Key Airlines • Eagle View • Skybridge Airlines • Litair + created video prototypes on business games related to airline industry ERASMUS IP 2010/2011

  11. Improvement of Entrepreneurial Skills in a Multicultural Environment Extend the business cases of the airline companies from “Airline Entrepreneurship” towards ”Hotel Entrepreneurship”. Created results - created business plans for the establishment of an airline/hotel company; - created video prototypes on business games related to airline + hotel industry. ERASMUS IP 2010/2011
