Initiative 1 Investment and support into developing clear and concise data and profiles in every market in the overseas network; Ensure specific levels of BV&E delivery through our UK and overseas teams. Ensure the quadrant model is understood and adhered to. Initiative 2: Negotiate the handover of some leisure exhibitions to others; Allow the team to become a purer Business Tourism department, with a focus on key sectors and a focus on Britain-led markets BV&E Strategy

  3. Initiative 3: Proactively build up eventBritain, supporting the nations, cities and regions of Britain in bids for major events, using our overseas network, contacts and eventBritain shops. Initiative 4: Increased central support for BV&E marketing initiatives and activity in Britain led markets. Work with leisure campaigns to integrate extender messaging. Develop marketing partnerships with key global business travel agencies to broaden our reach. BV&E Strategy

BV&E Strategy Initiative 5 • Support industry in raising its profile; Drive the BVEP and ensure that we champion and lead the industry with one voice across the UK; Lead on National Meetings Week. Engage with Government and advise on this sector Initiative 6: • Showcase Britain as a leading global destination for business and sport events. Sit on the Events Group, advocate the FPPC and drive business to tourismgames2012.org
