  3. SYNOPSIS • This course covers the introduction to concept, theory and practice of social and human services. Emphasis is given to social and human services as mediator in problem solving for individual, family and community. Professions and emerging issues in social and human services are also discussed. COURSE OBJECTIVES • At the end of the course student will be able to: • explain social and human sevices’ theory and practice. • determine functional component of social and human services. • appreciate the social and human services profession. • analyze current issues and challenges in social and human services SA’ODAH AHMAD/FEM3108/JPMPK/FEM
