Chapter 1: Christology (c’t)

  • Jesus of faith: the conviction that he was the Son of God, eventually led to the belief that he was God (Jn.1:1)

  • The struggle then and now is to find the language to understand this profound concept. However, Jesus promised not to leave the apostles (nor those to follow in faith) orphaned. Read Jn.14-17 on the role of the Holy Spirit *
