  3. What we are up to? Vision:Mass adoption of EAN.UCC standards through the sharing of implementation expertise. Mission:To support new standards implementations. Scope:To recommend implementation strategies and to facilitate the sharing of implementation experiences and best practices. Implementation support will extend to all standards and technologies included within the EAN.UCC umbrella.

  4. Implementation Needs • Project planning must include implementation guidelines and other collateral as deliverables. • Standards are released with associated Guidelines. • Project Managers are responsible for delivery. • Co-ordination of all implementation and publication documents delivered across all projects. • This is a permanent EAN.UCC staff function. • Counsel and resources from a standing community of experts (similar to TST)

  5. Implementation Support Activities • Develop and apply metrics (of usage of standards) • Assist MO’s to develop training programs • Share economic justifications • Share and promote case studies • Make available implementation best practices • Link to publication strategy(under construction)

  6. Section E: Initial Implementation Considerations to be detailed by the submitter: Improve the Change Request Form • Who will implement it and be otherwise involved? • Industry Sector(s), Companies. • When and why will it be implemented? • e.g. compliancy with new regulatory requirements 2 years from now. • What are requirements for implementation? • e.g. training programme, web-site.
