  2. What is "The Box” ? Search almost ALL of the online journal databases AND the catalogue of items you can borrow at the same time!

  3. www.niagaracollege.ca/library video game violence 1. Enter your awesome search keywords in "the box" with the "Everything" box selected.

  4. Bonus tip: Select "Keep search refinements," so if you change your search words, you don't have to re-check the limit boxes! 2. Set your limits. For example, if you only want online journal articles, limit to full text online, scholarly/peer-reviewed, choose journal article as the content type, and adjust the dates (if appropriate for your research topic).

  5. 3. Click the title or "full-text online" link to access the article.

  6. 4. Don't fear this screen! You just need to enter your Blackboard ID and password :)

  7. 5. Sit back and enjoy your article... *Special hint: every library database has a citation generator* For more details and special features of library databases, please see a Library staff member

  8. No time to read the articles right away? Save your promising results to a temporary folder!

  9. Email the contents of your folder to yourself and your research is ready!
