1. AIMS OF STUDY To describe the demographics of attendees of nurse-clinician led smoking cessation clinic at a University-affiliated acute hospital. To determine quit rate at 1 year and to detect any gender differences. CONCLUSION Overall quit rate of 35.3% is achieved at 1 year, male smokers = 35.1% & female smokers = 36% Besides the level of education that was significant between male and female smokers, no other gender differences were identified Demographic of Attendees of Smoking Cessation Clinic : Gender differences?
