Ode to Cheesecake Your middle is fluffy and light, I just want to take a bite, You are made of cream cheese, If I want some I have to say please, The Romans took it from Greece, After they had a piece, Cheesecake is known as a comfort food, It makes you feel better when you’re in a bad mood, It is made in many places, Little kids usually get it all over their faces, Cheesecake is usually sweet, It is something I love to eat, There are many ways to cook this dish, To eat this cake is my only wish, I will always love to eat this dessert, I’ll keep eating it until my tummy starts to hurt.

  9. Ode to Angels You were once dust, For true love you lust, Your wings can be gold, Your legend is old, You help people when they’ve lost their way, But in heaven you will stay, People read about you in books, They read about your angelic looks, You each have your job, Which was assigned to you by god, None of you were influenced by hell, Except for those of you that fell.

  14. I Love Books I love books, I love the smells; They come in many colors like blue and red; They show me stories about wishing wells; Their stories always continue to play in my head; The stories are always unique; They are sometimes about love; But the end of the story is where I want to peek; Sometimes I read about a fox, swan, or a big white dove; Old book; Old tale; New look; Through changing times it will prevail; Books will live forever on; Until there is no waking dawn.
