  2. NEED • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_violence • The article covers topic yet it is not specifically on school fights. It however covers a large range of school violence including bringing in weapons. However the article offers some good information.

  3. Level • Though the information gathered in the article comes from relevant sources for example it cites American statistics confidence integrals on the percentage of American students who fight. • The level of the information seems to be well researched but it is not reliable.

  4. Currency • The page was last modified 09/27/2011 at 1:05pm • This is very current and much of the information has been recently added and modified.

  5. Coverage • The article does not cover the topic with sufficient depth rather it is just a little more than a definition. It is similar to an encyclopedia and though it has some very relevant information, it basically summarizes the topic.

One can argue however, that the vilification of violence in school is represents a small forms of the author’s thoughts of the matter. Given this some may argue that the article calls for action against school violence. However it still manages to remain neutral.

  9. Quality/Accuracy • Overall though the topic is not covered with the depth required to research there are relevant statistics on the matter. The article displays on confidence integral statistics on the percentage of American students that have been in a fight at school. • The information can be verified by other sources by simply following the link to the cited material.
