44. Homework • Pretend that you live in the colonies and you read that the Second Continental Congress has just passed the Declaration of Independence. Write a letter to the editor of your newspaper explaining your thoughts about the Declaration and whether you support the document or not. • You can write either as a Patriot, Loyalist, woman, slave, or British soldier, but your writing must reflect the opinions of these people clearly.
