  1. Frank XiaoPresident, ACT Rochester Chapter Frank Xiao is a strategy manager in Strategy & Marketing Communications, GCBG. In this role, he is responsible for developing deep understanding of internal performance , market and competitive trends in the Graphic Communications market. He is also responsible for developing Xerox WW production machine installation projections. Prior to his current position, Frank was Business Operations Manager in PSG, supporting Production LOB. He carried out projects with LOB and OpCo Partners to generate multi-million dollar revenue and profit for Xerox Production business. He is certified DfLSS Green Belt in Marketing and in Hardware Designs. Frank joined Xerox XIG in 1995 from Hewlett Packard Inkjet Business Unit. At XIG, he was doing research in xerographic marking technologies, which was later used in iGen, Nuvera and other Xerox products and held several patents in marking technologies. Before joined the business group, he was working in the technology strategy area responsible for marking technology portfolio valuation and was the gate keeper for the XC/FX marking technology exchanges. Frank received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Cornell University, MBA from the University of Rochester and BS from Tsinghua University in China. He was principal, board member and board chairman of the Chinese School of Rochester. He was also a consultant of the Xerox Science Consulting Program, teaching science to the local elementary students. He is actively working with other Asian American leaders and the United Way to promote the community involvement of Asian Americans in the greater Rochester area. Frank is a firm believer of ACT vision and is excited to lead the ACT. He believes with most of economic growth forecasted to come from Asian economies, we Asians have a unique opportunity to help Xerox achieve its growth objectives by sharing our perspectives, culture and creativity.
