Clinical Threshold Revisions CCG agree with Public Health a timetable for review but also welcome suggestions for new thresholds to be developed Next threshold will be varicose veins for review Inclusion criteria are to be revised such that patients at risk of sequelae are prioritised. A patient is eligible for surgical treatment if the clinical presentation of their varicose veins meets at least one of the following criteria: 1. Changes in skin or subcutaneous tissue, as evidenced by eczema, lipodermatosclerosis, or atrophie blanche 2. A healed or active ulcer 3. Recurrent haemorrhage, or one serious haemorrhage 4. Confirmed recurrent thrombophlebitis
