  3. What does it do? • Influences decisions about providing health and social care services in Bromley. • Produces a Health and Wellbeing Strategy Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy for Bromley2011-2015

  4. What is the Health and Wellbeing Strategy? • Looks at health and social care in Bromley • Has priorities - what needs to be done better so people in Bromley are healthier and have choice and independence.

  5. How does the Board choose the priorities? • Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) • Lots of information about people’s health and lives • In-depth reports on different groups of people • Shows where things could be better Diabetes Weight Cancer Housing Dementia Heart Personal care

  6. What can the Partnership Board do? Big Health Day • The Good Health Sub-Group can help to: • Provide information about health and needs of people with learning disabilities from Big Health Check Up and other activities • Look at JSNA and see if it is missing anything important to people with a learning disability

  7. Priorities affecting people with learning disabilities • Obesity • Support for Carers • Children and young people with complex needs and disabilities
