  4. SAT ACT • October 11 • November 8 • December 6 • www.collegeboard.org • FEE WAIVERS AVAILABLE • October 25 • December 13 • www.act.org SEND SCORES DIRECTLY TO COLLEGES!

DEADLINES • Regular Decision – Apply by posted deadline, notified by Spring • Rolling admission – open application window – Apply and notified within 2-3 weeks • Early Decision • Apply by Nov, notified by Dec • Binding decision to attend if accepted • Apply to only 1 school early • Early Action • Apply by Nov, notified by Jan or Feb • Apply to only 1 school early • Confirm decision by spring

  6. Official Transcript • Meet with your counselor to review your transcript • Check your GPA and class rank Submit your completed application with fee and request your official transcript

  7. Letters of Recommendation • Solicit letters early • Ask varied sources • Provide an updated resume and “request card”

  8. Essay • Why are you suited to attend their school? • Draft, Edit, and Finalize
