  1. CONTINUOUS PATH MOTION PRATIK SHAH -- 70

  2. CONTINUOUS PATH MOTION The speed of each joint of the robot can be controlled independently , then the robotic manipulator is capable of continuous – path motion. Continuous path motion is required in those applications where the tool must follow a specific path between points in the workspace.

  3. ContinuousPath • It is an extension of the point-to-point method. This involves The Utilization of more points and its path can be arc, circle or straight line. • Because of the large number of points, the Robot is capable of producing smooth movement that gives the appearance of continuous or contour movement.

  4. Continuous path • Controls both the displacement and the velocity. • Machining profiles. • Precise control. • Use linear and circular interpolators.

  5. Continuous path control • Moves along a specific path • Uses include paint spraying, welding, cutting, machining parts.
