  2. Advisors: Please hand out student’s transcripts now • Students, check your transcript carefully for errors. Examples are: • Missing summer school class • Wrong credit assigned to a course • Credit Totals • Grades **Make corrections on transcript and give to your Advisor ***ADVISORS: return transcripts to the Counseling Center

Overview of the Transcript: Course Designation Keys (Codes) • I = International Baccalaureate: We do not offer IB classes • C = College in the High School: THS offers one Spanish class that can be taken for credit from the University of Washington • T = Tech Prep: THS offers several of these courses • H = Honors (ex. Freshman Language Studies, World Studies, Biology) • A = Advanced Placement ( ex. AP World History, AP Eng. Language) • R = Running Start: courses taken at a college • B = CADR/HECB Core: courses approved by the Washington Higher Education Board for enrollment in any public 4-year college/university in the state of Washington • K = Cambridge Program: not applicable to THS Please NOTE: These are standardized codes used by all high schools in the State of Washington

  9. Credit Check Matrix • Pages 14-15 of the Timberline Course Catalog shows what credit each class counts toward

  10. Filling out the Credit Check Sheet Using your transcript, check the boxes for classes you passed EACH BOX = 0.5 Semester Credit Please note: if a class counts in more than one area, you can ONLY use it once. If you have completed one subject area, any extra course in that area can be placed in the Electives boxes
