Ducati Supersport 950 Revealed to Be Launched in Early 2021

Ducati has launched another motorcycle-Ducati Supersport 950 along with a more capable model, Supershot 950S. Both these new models have received a cosmetic upgrade inspired by the Panigale V4. According to the 2020 Ducati supersport review, the new bodywork is the most obvious change that can be viewed at the first glance.

  2. Ducati has launched another motorcycle-Ducati Supersport 950 along with a more capable model, Supershot 950S. Both these new models have received a cosmetic upgrade inspired by the Panigale V4.   3. The 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 has an aesthetic similar to the Ducati Panigale V4. It has an aggressive headlamp along with brow like LED DRLs. There are small air intakes on both sides. Due to the dual exhaust, sporty fairing and fuel tank; the side profile of the motorcycle looks exciting and attractive. The Ducati Supersport comes with a different material for seat padding and more longitudinal rider space.

  4. Dimensions of the New Ducati Supersport 950/950s The Ducati Supersport 2020 weighs around 184kg and has a seat height of around 810 mm. The wheelbase is 1.478mm with a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres. The motorcycle will have a seat height of around 810mm. There will be an optional 790 mm seat also available. For a softer seat, you can go for the 25mm padding. The screen is 50 mm apart to accommodate the different heights of the riders.

  5. Power Engine and Transmission Specifications The Panigale V2 was powered by a 955cc Superquadro powerplant and the Supersport 950 makes use of the “Testastretta 11 degree” engine. The Ducati 950 and 950 s are both powered by the same 937 cc L-twin engine. The engine is designed in accordance with the Euro 5 emission regulations. The engine will produce 110 bhp at 9000 rpm. The peak torque will be 93 Nm at 6500 rpm. Sports, Touring and Urban are the three modes included in this latest venture.

  6. Safety and Standard Accessories List The motorcycle comes with an inbuilt anti-theft system. There are heated grips and the advanced Ducati multimedia system that has been introduced into Ducati Supersport 950 and 950S. The motorcycle has a second radar sensor placed at the front which will manage the Ducati supersport cruise control. The sensor will provide the driver with a warning for any risks related to riding.

  7. Some Salient Features of The Front The front view of the motorcycle is lit by new full-LED headlamps which are accompanied by daylight DRL. This is very similar to the light signature of the Panigale V4. The headlamp creates a symmetrical look due to the two bifunctional LEDs. The bifunctional LED modules provide a low beam and high beam that contributes to the symmetric headlamp look.

  8. You can find the Brembo front brake system. The front brakes have two M4.32 callipers and dual 320 mm discs. Also, a 43 mm Marzocchi fork can be seen along with an adjustable Sachs rear shock. There is a Y shaped front wheel made of a three-spoke light alloy. There are extra gills that are placed on the side fairing. These gills extent up to the exhaust outlet and hide the exhaust collector and catalytic converter present in the belly pan.

  9. The chassis has a single-sided swingarm and adopts the classic steel trellis design. The Ducati supersport 950cc is available in the Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk. The Arctic White Silk is exclusive only for the Ducati Supersport 950 s model.
