  4. Project overview • Establish and operate a shared web-based portal for theTCS eScience Personal certificate service. • Pilot service until 30 April 2011 • Started with CESNET, CSC, Forskningsnettet, SUNET, SURFnet, UNINETT • Quickly joined by RENATER, ACOnet, GARR • BELNET on its way

  5. Portal • 2 portals: Personal and eScience Personal • Uses ‘Confusa’ software (http://www.confusa.org/) • 2x2 SURFnet VM servers for resilience • High availability 99.81% on 99.99% infrastructure

Project status • Portal installations in production since January 2010 • EuGridPMA accreditation for eScience Personal secured in February 2010 • TCS CAs in production since 15 February • Busy connecting federations in February/March/April • Fixing Confusa bugs and adding new features in January - April
