Introduction According to the Morocco news live, the Facebook page ‘Matpartagich’ which literally means ‘’don’t share’’ in the Moroccan dialect of Arabic is tackling the issue of fake news, which is a global problem concern. Created on March 25, the page aims to fight rumors and fake news circulated on social media. The page already has over eleven thousand followers. It will be very much helpful to every Moroccan Facebook users. Initiative like Matpartagich reminds Moroccan users that everything they see and read online is not true.

  3. Sahara Raising Concern by Morocco News Live as Non-Self-Governing Territory Western Sahara is a disputed territory that is under Morocco’s de facto sovereignty. The territory is claimed by the Polisario Front, a separatist movement that claims to be the representative of the Saharaiws. The Western Sahara has come under Morocco control following the Green March on November 6, 1975. The territory had been under Morocco’s sovereignty until Spain started occupying it in 1884. Though Spain claimed its control of the territory ever since, this control was only nominal. It was not until 1934 that Spain started exercising effective of the territory. Since 1844, Moroccans have always rejected and fought against Spain’s occupation of the territory.
