Presentation • Teachmath, geography, chemistry and physics in Danish 8th. and 9th. grade • Teach an iPadclass and developingiPaddidactics • Author of teachingmaterials for physics/chemistry • Participated in the conference in Tartu last year (workshop title ”Students creatingtheirowntasks with storylines”)

Project summary • 8th. grade: • 15 years old • Experiencedusers of GeoGebrasince 6th. grade • Have earlier made theirownGeoGebratasks for eachother and the parallel class • Confident with beingproductive due to the dailyuse of iPad • 6th. grade: • 13 years old • Totallyinexperienced in GeoGebra • Idea: • 8th. graders wouldthrough a homemadeGeoGebracourseintroduce the 6th. graders to GeoGebra. The 8th. graders wereteamed up with one or two 6th. graders beforehand. • The skilled students wereteamed up together and the ”weak” students wereteamed up together. • Time used: • Preparation of the course (8th. grade): 2 times 90 min. with computers • The get-together: 90 min. with computers for the 6th. graders

Experiences • It takes a lot of time to create a goodtask, thatcanbesolved in a fewminutes • When the task is not describedwell, it causesconfusion • When a product is put intouse, it willbeeasy to evaluate • Creating a task is a way to becomecomfortable with Geogebra as well as alwayssolvingtasks • The students appreciated and handled the variety of the differenttaskswell • Memorable to the normal mathlessons • Different students requiredifferentamount and kinds of help in solvingtasks • 6th. graders wereinspired to createtasks themselves
