  8. Components of a procurement Plan List all contracts to be awarded under the project . Estimate costs for each contract List the procurement method that will be used for each contract Estimate the time frame for each activity of procurement and the whole contract Identify the contract manager

  9. Important considerations when developing the plan Continuously review and update the plan. Keep all the information in organized system / filing system. Know the length of each procurement method Schedule procurements according to available resources . Understand the project objectives.

  10. Role of the World Bank and ASARECA ASARECA reviews the project implementer’s procurement plan ,documents, and procedures related to the project. ASARECA reviews the implementers performance through project supervision missions to ensure that the actual procurement process is in accordance with the approved procurement plan The approved procurement plan is to be in conformity with the sub grant agreement.
