  2. NSLDS Reports How can NSLDS web reports help? These reports may provide: • Support for default management • Assistance in tracking exit counseling • Reference points for ED purchased loans • Aid in reporting enrollment, handling overpayments, and transfer monitoring Reports overview

  3. NSLDS Reports Log on to the NSLDS Professional Access website at https://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_FAP/secure/logon.jsp Reports overview

  4. NSLDS Reports Not enrolled in NSLDS? Just want to check your NSLDS enrollment status? Go to http://www.fsawebenroll.ed.gov/ or contact CPS/SAIG Customer Service at 1-800-330-5947. NSLDS enrollment

  6. NSLDS Reports Requesting NSLDS reports Click on the number in the blue box that corresponds with the desired report. Reports overview

NSLDS Reports Delinquent Borrower Report (DELQ01) Statement of all borrowers with loans reported as delinquent to one of the federal loan servicers Contains this information: • Student’s demographics – address, phone number(s) and email address • Loan data – date, type, total outstanding balance, and current monthly payment amount DELQ01

  10. NSLDS Reports Click on blue box #1 to select the Delinquent Borrowers Report DELQ01

  11. NSLDS Reports Can search for a particular servicer’s information DELQ01

  13. NSLDS Reports Can see that PHEAA’s code is displayed as the servicer in which we’re interested. Now, we have to make some additional selections, as shown at left and above. Along with school branch and cohort year, days of delinquency and sort order can be identified. (Note: The default asterisk * indicates “all” for that field.) After making selections, click “Submit”.   15. NSLDS Reports The processed DELQ01 data is sent to the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) mailbox associated with the NSLDS User ID requesting the report. Depending upon which options were chosen, extract file output is sent with message classes DELQFFOP (Fixed Width) or DELQCMOP (Comma Delimited). Pre-formatted “Report” output is sent with message class DELQFMOP. Additional hints for printing the report in Microsoft Word format are available in the Report List Help page. Extract file layouts are available at the Information for Financial Aid Professionals Web site. DELQ01

  17. NSLDS Reports Delinquent Borrower Report can also be a scheduled or “pushed” report, recurring on one of the following cycles: • Daily • Weekly • Monthly • Quarterly Here’s how to request this… DELQ01

  18. NSLDS Reports After selecting the “Org” tab… Choose the “School Profile” link DELQ01

  19. NSLDS Reports At the bottom of the next screen, you will find the “Scheduled Reporting” options, as shown above. Click on the “Update” button for the Delinquent Borrower Report. DELQ01

  20. NSLDS Reports Identify your selections. Then click “Submit”. DELQ01

  21. NSLDS Reports Want to get this message, along with an outline of what we chose. If not correct, can select “Update” and change selections. DELQ01

NSLDS Reports Exit Counseling Completion Results (EXTC01) Statement of students who have completed exit counseling for the requesting school during the designated timeframe Contains this information: • Student’s demographics – reported addresses for employer, references, and next of kin • Exit counseling data – media type, source, and completion date/time EXTC01

  23. NSLDS Reports Back at the home page, we select the “Report” tab EXTC01

  24. NSLDS Reports Once again, we simply click on the blue box corresponding with the report we want to request. That’s #6 for the Exit Counseling Completion Results. EXTC01

  25. NSLDS Reports Like we did for DELQ01, we need to make some selections, as shown above and at left. For EXTC01, along with school branch, we can specify begin/end dates, extract types/formats and sort order. After making selections, click “Submit”. EXTC01

NSLDS Reports Exit Counseling Completion Reports are also available for lenders, guarantors, and loan servicers: • Lender Report – EXTC02 • Guarantee Agency/Federal Loan Servicer Report – EXTC03 Note: EXTC03 is a “pushed” report to GA/Federal Loan Servicers that satisfies school exit counseling requirements. EXTC01

  36. NSLDS Reports Enhanced Loans Purchased by ED Report (PLPED3) When counseling a particular student, can be a useful tool in that it’s a comprehensive look at all “PUT” loans. Here’s how to request this report… PLPED3

  37. NSLDS Reports Select “Web Report List” Enter PLPED3 in Report ID box PLPED3

  38. NSLDS Reports • The 6-digit school code rolls-up on this screen, but a 2 digit branch may be added. Specify SSN(s) and dates, if desired. • Record layouts can be found on IFAP. • Includes original GA and/or current servicer. • SAIG Output Message Class is AHSLDEOP. PLPED3

  40. NSLDS Reports Transfer Monitoring Summary Report (SCH07B) This report tracks alerts generated for students and contains the following information: • Monitor begin dates • Enrollment period begin dates • Alert types • Alert dates SCH07B
