Lessons Learned • Problems Encountered • Many • Should have enlisted help from SMEs and other electrical engineers • Learnings • Practicing presentation with guides helps • Risk assessment is only useful if we use it to an end • 2 guides are better than 1 • Plan ahead and stay ahead to cushion risk • Stick to project plan, do not push deadlines out We learned from many encountered problems

Recommendations • For Future Work: • Ability to detect changes in elevation • Ability to provide feedback on proximity to obstacles • Designing a system that requires smaller batteries • Making battery removable more user friendly • Signal to user to let them know that battery is low while in use • Add a vibration to stop feedback • One D-shaped shaft for system • Fewer small parts and a more “streamlined design” • Simpler assembly
