  2. “Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

The Bible teaches that Judgment Day is coming – • Acts 17:30,31 "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

The Bible teaches that Judgment Day is coming – • Acts 17:30,31 • All accountable people will be there, including you – • 2 Corinthians 5:10 • For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

  9. Those Who Rejected The Bible Will Be Surprised • The atheist will be surprised to learn that he was a fool and there is indeed a God – Psalm 14:1… The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.

  11. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 8:24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.“ John 12:48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Those Who Rejected The Bible Will Be Surprised • The atheist will be surprised to learn that he was a fool and there is indeed a God – Psalm 14:1 • Muslims, Buddhists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hindus and Satanists will be surprised to learn that Jesus really was the Son of God and Savior of the world – John 3:16; 8:24; 12:48 • The good moral man will be surprised to discover that he was a sinner in need of salvation – Romans 3:23; 6:23

  13. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  17. James 2:14, 24, 26… 14What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

  19. Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Some Who Claim To Be “Christians” Will Be Surprised • Many preachers will be surprised to discover that God meant what he said about preaching the truth of the gospel – Galatians 1:6-9; James 3:1 • Many professed believers will be surprised to discover that “faith only” did not save them – James 2:14, 24, 26 • The innovator will be surprised to learn that having Christ’s authority was important – Col. 3:17 • The unimmersed will be surprised to learn that baptism was indeed necessary for salvation – Mark 16:16; Acts 22:16; Acts 2:38

  21. Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Acts 22:16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.' Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What Can I Do In Order Not To Be One Of Those Surprised? • 1 If You are not a Christians: • You must believe in the Gospel. • You must repent of your Sins. • You must confess Jesus as the son of God. • You must be baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sins… • Be faithful until death comes and God will reward you and not surprise you.

  27. What Can I Do In Order Not To Be One Of Those Surprised? • 2 If You are a Christian but you’re living in sin: • Confess your sins to God and the church as Per James 5:16 • Repent of every sin that you have committed. Acts 8:22-24. • God will give you the forgiveness that you are seeking…
