  2. Opportunity Statement While most churches possess Ministries designed to reach out to; Infant Care, Sunday School, AWANAS, Junior/High School and College Youth (all levels), Women, Men and Seniors, it does not have a “Big Brother” or mentoring program designed to assist troubled boys whose family situation may restrict their opportunity to find consistently solid Christian male role-modeling, and/or whose family budgets may preclude their son’s involvement in the wonderful and wholesome sport of bass fishing.

  3. YouthNET Mission YouthNET’sstated mission is to allow God's power to change our lives forever, live purposefully, and present Jesus' life and love to a lost and hurting world. YouthNET also seeks to provide strong Christian male role-modeling and experienced leadership for our boys desiring to change or improve their lives, through the wonderful and wholesome sport of bass fishing.

All passengers of the boat must assist in boat clean-up and wipe down prior to going home. This process will take approximately twenty (20) minutes after trailering the boat. Expected total time for the event is three (3) to four (4) hours from drop-off.

  9. YouthNET Program Continued… The event leaders reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who; 1.) does not listen/respond to instruction, 2.) willfully breaks safety rules and/or procedures, or 3.) uses foul or non-respectful language and/or behavior of any kind, during the event.

  10. Leaders and Criteria “…strong Christian male role-modeling” as verified by the Gateway Church Senior Pastor and in compliance with Gateway Church leadership policy requirements, to provide Christian guidance to youth, and “…experienced leadership…for the… sport of bass fishing” as verified by previously approved Gateway YouthNET leaders, skilled to teach the unique areas of bass fishing (i.e. equipment, technique, and rules/regulations).

  11. YouthNET Calendar The YouthNET webpage www.4youthnet.info provides 2007 weekly/monthly event information for properly registered (through the Church) boys, as well as information as to when and where the named participant must appear to take part in the event.
